Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
Take this time to reflect on or to discover new things about the Civil Rights Movement--because although you may be able to summarize that doesn't mean you have a true understanding. That's going to be my "homework" too (although most of us have the day off).
Anyways, wanted to drop a video in honor of this day. It's originally from The Boondocks, but the clip that's being shown has been edited a bit (if you like the parts you see--go out and rent the season or try and catch the show on CartoonNetwork's AdultSwim):
"The Return of the King" is my personal reminder to always try my hardest so I can achieve my best. Ultimately, this is a message to all people--don't give into the mess, rise above.
